Penguin
Pools have just completed their most formidable project to
date. Their first brief was to design a swimming pool that
would be constructed on the first floor of a metal-framed
building. Furthermore, the pool was to be freeform and also
incorporate an automatic pool
cover. The first consideration Penguin had to contend
with was the deflection within the building that would transfer
into the pool, the second was the weight of the pool on the
building frame and the third was to install an automatic pool
cover on a freeform pool. While other companies walked away
from the project, Penguin took up the challenge and as you
will see from the photographs the end results are spectacular.
